Job Description
CIFORD Kenya is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Gardener to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our compound. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day grounds and garden maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ground maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining the compound and surrounding areas
- Gardening & landscaping: Planting, watering, pruning, and caring for flowers, trees, and lawns
- Waste management: Proper collection and disposal of waste
- Tool handling: Safe use and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment
- Safety & order: Ensuring pathways and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and tidy
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in gardening or grounds maintenance is an added advantage
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
