CIFORD Kenya is looking for a dedicated and passionate Community Health Intern to join our team and support our health-focused initiatives in rural communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in fieldwork and community outreach activities.
- Support programs aimed at improving healthcare access and awareness.
- Collaborate with team members to implement health-related interventions.
- Communicate effectively with community members to promote public health programs.
- Adapt and contribute to emerging health challenges within the community.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in a related field, such as Public Health, Community Health, or Health Sciences.
- Proficiency in riding a motorcycle for fieldwork (essential).
- Fluency in speaking Turkana is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Passion for community health and a commitment to improving healthcare access.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
