In Tigania school going adolescent girls  misses school during their menstrual period due to lack of sanitary towels. They also don’t  have information on the date of the cycle and causes of this. Others are embarrassed and they don’t wish to share the issue not even with their mothers or aunts.

Proper education on the menstrual period and hygiene  is not wholesome as most girls either are informed from their peers since tradition doesn’t allow the elderly to talk about menstrual period freely. Adolescent friendly services and commodities are not also in public domain since most adolescents struggle to get services such as health education.
